Previtamin Zero to the Congress ESPGHAN 2014

To the Congress ESPGHAN 2014 (European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition) was presented the abstract ”Zinc supplementation reduces the risk of necrotizing enterocolitis in very low birth weight neonates: a randomized clinical trial”, which analyzes the results obtained supplementation with Previtamin Zero in very low birth weight preterm infants.

The double-blind, randomized, controlled study in very low birth weight preterm infants, has shown that zinc causes a statistically significant reduction in cases of NEC (6.3% in the placebo group vs 0% in the group supplemented with Previtamin Zero; p = 0.014).
